Add a Subnet Restriction to an API User

For increased API security, you can optionally restrict API users to only call Visier APIs from specific IP addresses.

Subnet restrictions are an optional security practice best suited for organizations that require strict control over API access. Please evaluate whether using an IP allowlist for API users is right for your organization, such as the time required to set up and maintain.

1. On the global navigation bar, click Tenant, and then click the Users tab.

2. Select a user in the Users list.

3. In the Subnets field of the User Details area, type the secure IP addresses in comma-separated CIDR notation.
4. Click Save.
